Not Into Leather was the very first fragrance I released. Looking back, it reflects exactly where I was in my perfumery journey. With 114 ingredients, I tried to create a perfume that did everything at once. It was sweet, leathery, gourmand, bold, incredibly long lasting, and unapologetically loud.

In many ways, it was overcomplicated. I was trying to tick every box instead of letting a single idea take the lead. Creating this fragrance taught me one of the most important lessons in perfumery: not every perfume needs to do everything. Sometimes, restraint creates a stronger statement.

Despite its imperfections, Not Into Leather remains one of the most unique fragrances I've created. It opens with a dark amber vanilla accord wrapped in leather, delivering a rich, powerful presence that lasts remarkably long. Released in June 2024, it marked the beginning of my journey and laid the foundation for every fragrance that followed.
