Rose Absolute was my first rose focused fragrance. As I was still learning perfumery, creating a rose perfume felt almost inevitable. It is one of the best ways to understand balance, structure, and composition, and it turned out to be a fragrance I remain proud of.

Although it contains 3% oud in the formula, the oud was never intended to take center stage. Instead, it is soft, mellow, sweet, earthy, slightly animalic, and balsamic, serving only to deepen and emphasize the rose. The result is a true rose perfume, with fewer rough edges while retaining the character and complexity that natural oud brings.
